Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences
Under the umbrella of the Munich Center for Neurosciences - Brain & Mind, the GSN-LMU looks to link research groups from all areas of neuroscience in an interdisciplinary network which provides a stimulating environment for students and faculty to produce novel formulations of current concepts and theories.
The training concept of the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences responds to the rapidly developing neuroscience field and is designed to offer:
- an optimally structured and student-centered teaching program in English,
- comprehensive and state-of-the-art scientific training supported by the exceptionally broad scope of research associated with the Munich Center for Neurosciences - Brain & Mind,
- ECTS-based grading, fully compatible with the Bologna System,
- personal career planning plus intensive individual coaching for scientific and related careers,
- various options for lab rotations with collaborating Munich institutions, such as the Technische Universität München, Max-Planck-Institutes, and Helmholtz Center Munich as well as their international research partners, and
- an international network for future careers in academia for graduates, PhD students, and postdocs.
